Capital One Bank recently announced the appointment of three senior executives to serve as market presidents for the New York region. They are responsible for driving Capital One’s strategic business and customer service priorities and for leading the bank’s community and philanthropic efforts in the New York area.
Giselle Cahalan joined Capital One Bank in 2004. In addition to her role as Queens market president, as the regional manager of branch distribution in the borough, Cahalan leads the local branch distribution team and is responsible for increasing bank revenues, developing a robust talent management process, and ensuring operational safety and soundness across diverse and thriving markets. She is an active member of the Queens community, including her work with the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation.
Ellen Weber joined Capital One Bank in 1987. She leads the local branch distribution team responsible for increasing bank revenue and oversees the operations and activities for branches across Suffolk County. A dedicated community leader, Weber also served on the boards of Have a Heart, Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Steering Committee and Southampton Hospital Quarterbackers, as well as on the Southampton Rotary Club and Southampton Chamber of Commerce.
Rich Schnapper joined Capital One Bank in 2008. He is responsible for leading a team of 23 bankers across a territory that includes New York City, the Bronx, Westchester and Rockland Counties, Connecticut and New Jersey. Schnapper is an active member in the community and volunteers with the American Kidney Fund and the JCC-Y.
